Dear Friends,

With delight I can report that as of Friday, the manufacturers in both the USA and Australia, have been sent the master album and artwork files for Crystal Keys – Songs to Awaken and Heal! So, if you've ordered a copy already, not long to wait now! The Australian shipment is scheduled to arrive with me on June 6th, just a few days before I leave for the US. The envelopes will be pre-addressed and ready, so all going according to plan, your album will be in the mailbox and on its way to you, by June 7th,, well before the official launch of the album in early July.

Crystal Keys has received a couple of lovely international reviews already. One is from Judy Hall, the UK author of the bestselling 'Crystal Bible' – Vol 1 & 2. The other is from ReviewsNewAge.com in Europe.

I really hope that you'll find this album to be all that you expect. I've poured my heart, soul and every ounce of available energy, into every aspect of the production. I will admit to being a bit of a perfectionist at the best of times, but this project seemed to bring out that quality in an almost obcessive way - near enough, simply not being good enough! The need for perfection carried through to the packaging. Somehow, the normal jewel case didn't seem sufficient, so the Crystal Keys CD will sit, like a jewel itself, inside a very beautifully designed 6-panel digipak casing, with a separate booklet insert. There have been several moments of sheer panic at the amount of financial resources this production has been devouring, but each time one of those occurred, a voice in my head said loudly, "Spare no expense". Although my mental reply was, "All very well for you to say", I just chuckled wryly to myself, took out my credit card again, and did what I was told!

The music of each track on Crystal Keys carries within it, vibrational messages from the Master Deva of that particular crystal. From the inception of this project, I felt that I wanted to provide the listener with pertinent and tangible information about the crystals, to help them connect with, and tune into these crystal key frequencies. I found exactly what I was looking for in the channelled messages of the crystals masters, brought through by Justin Moikeha of 'The Liquid Crystals'. http://theliquidcrystals.com Having heard one of the near final mixes of the album, Justin has kindly given me permission to share these messages within the CD booklet. USA Events

On June 10th, I fly to the US to do some media and special events, in the lead up to the launch of Crystal Keys there in July. I will do three events in Northern California, and then in Devner, I'll appear at the International New Age Trade Show (INATS West). If any of you reading this live near Sacramento, Lake Tahoe or Mt Shasta or if you are a retailer living near Denver, I'd love to see you there!

With the help of two wonderful friends in California, I have found some very special venues in which to hold the events.

Granlibakken Conference Center and Lodge Nestled in the trees above Lake Tahoe with its unparalleled natural beauty, and just steps from Tahoe City, this is a magnificent resort is set in 74 secluded acres of pristine forest. As this event is on a Saturday night, some attendees might like to stay the night. The Shambhala Centre in Mt Shasta is the home of Susan Isabelle and her very special 13th crystal skull, given to her by the Mayan people. Mt Shasta has been calling me strongly for some time now, so I'm really excited about getting to that powerful Lemurian, crystal gateway for the first time. I know it's probable that like me, you will be finding life to be on 'fast track' at the moment. Time just seems to evaporate! This certainly is serving to make us live more in the present moment. Nothing seems to be a certainty….to survive, one must learn to roll with the punches….ride the wave! Change has become a constant, so we may as well just embrace it!

Twisting, stretching, and holding a pose … that’s what yoga students do to tone and relax the body at the same time.

But piano teacher Edward Weiss doesn’t want all those benefits to go just to yoga students.

Weiss, a pianist, composer, and teacher has developed an online piano course where students can learn how to play something called ‘new age’ piano.

The ‘new age’ genre has been around since the early 1980’s and remains a legitimate style of music. Even the Grammy awards recognize it. So it’s no surprise that someone somewhere would create a place where those wanting to learn this style of music can go.

Weiss explains…

“I’ve always loved the sound of New Age piano and wanted to bring the benefits of playing in this style to as many people as possible. The great thing about this genre of music is that no note-reading is required and students can simply sit down at the piano, relax, and play what they feel at the same time.”

The course now has over 100 lessons and 1000 members. Students have access to videos, audio, and personal instruction from Weiss who charges a small monthly fee for access to everything on the site.

When asked what his ultimate goal is for students, Weiss responds:

“If someone can just walk over to their piano or keyboard, sit down, and just play what they are feeling, then I feel I’ve accomplished what I set out to do which is give people a way to relax, unwind, and get creative at the piano.”

Hello there!!

Well here is my first blog.. I never know what to say in these things.. hehe

My name is Marc. i am an english man but I now like in Norway... I like to write and perform music..

My project that i am working on at the moment is called Hoyland and I class it as ethereal ambient music, with some neo-classical and even some new age influences also. I have released 1 album so far with the next release lined up for September on a label called Quartier23..

Quartier23 is a german label on which you will find some great artists of varying styles, although pre-dominantly darker stuff. But maybe there are some things there that will appeal to some people?? I don't know..
